Windows Mobile users have had quite a few options when it came to streaming music from
GrooveShark and it seems a new app has come up on Windows Phone 7 Marketplace that could possibly be an app that connects to Grooveshark to stream free music. The app does not state that the app stream music from Grooveshark but, if you search for the popular section the app and Grooveshark spits out the same results, so I am thinking it uses Grooveshark. grooveshark downloader
SciLor’s GrooveDownloaderWM is a windows mobile app that allows you to Download Music from Grooveshark straight to your phone. I dont think this is something that GrooveShark would approve of and the developer might land in hot water for this. Anyhoo the app is released as a prove of concept.
My Thoughts : Grooveshark is a great service and abusing the service is not a very good idea, we might see more restrictions being place to combat this and it might adversely effect the free service that we can enjoy on out mobile devices using GrooveShark. Plz think of that before using this app

SciLor’s GrooveMobile Alpha 10 is a windows mobile GrooveShark app. With local playlists and an option to dump your online playlists.
Changes in Alpha v10
-Fix: Crash on missing internet connection on startup(Moved the cookie grabbing to just in time)!
-Fix: Some big changes on grooveshark(tm).com to lock us out ;)
-Removed: Support for loading old playlists in ‘jso’ format. (The convert routine was corrupted, so all playlists converted were empty… stupid SciLor, but therefore it is an alpha)

Groovefish is a Windows Mobile 6.0 client for the Grooveshark service, which allows you to play virtually any song in the world – from anywhere. This is turing out to be one of the best pocket pc software.
Changes (since v0.3.1)
- Big rewrite of some of the code – should fix some problems, may cause others!
- Sporadic crash on exit should now be fixed.
- Searches can now be cancelled.
- Fixes a crash that sometimes occurred when scrolling the search results.
- QVGA compatibility!!

- Music player should be less buggy now
- Crash on exit should be fixed
- Music player now give more information when connecting to a stream.
- More debugging information (it’s useful for the developer)
- Two options added; Pause on headset disconnect and Pause on incoming call.
