Features:-
Display current speed, average speed, distance travelled, top speed and compass heading.

Track your journey with Bing Maps: view journeys live on a map and save them to view later.
Use heads up display mode to invert the display and view via a reflection (e.g. your car window).

It seems Samsung has been busy these days we saw the Samsung Print App a couple of days ago and now there seems to be another app in there called High Fidelity Position. The app aims to offer better GPS positioning by the aid of the on-board sensors ( accelerometer and compass if you device has em ) and also makes use of GLONASS ( Russia’s alternative to GPS ). I am not sure how power hungry these new settings are , will try it for a few days and update the article if I notice anything significant

Utilising your phone’s GPS capabilities, this application is able to accurately track your journey almost anywhere in the world. The gathered location data is also used to plot your route on an easily accessible map and calculate your estimated time of arrival and average speed. Travelnapp also features a set of failsafes whose aim is to wake you should GPS signal be lost for an extended period of time (for example: in a tunnel) as you near your destination.

We all know that Turn by Turn Navigation is a core feature in Mango ( at least for selected counties ) but till mango comes out later this year there is an alternate solution. The developer of Outdoor Navigation , GPS Tuner LLC has released a new app that uses Bing maps to provide Turn by Turn Navigation on Windows Phone . I am not sure which all regions it would work in , the best way to figure that out would be to get the trial version which should be good for 12 miles/20 km. This should come as no surprise to most people but if you were wondering the app will use data and will need an active internet connection on the deice for it to work. Press release and video below

Turn by Turn Navigation gives you premium quality Voice-Guided driving directions on your Windows Phone. Just simply tap a point on a map or search address/POI, then click on the pushpin and press the GO button. It is that simple.
