Usually I do the reviews from the comforts of my home but I had to get out and about with the camera to get some shots for this one. We will be taking a closer look at Speedo Plus a FREE GPS speedometer for Windows Phone. Speedo Plus is the 1st Windows Phone App by Long Zheng , most of you might know him from istartedsomething.com ( or perhaps you might know him as one of the guys behind Cheveron Labs ).

Amigalarm is a windows mobile app that acts as a GPS Speedometer. The app will display the measure of speed on the display. The color of the speedometer needle varies depending on the speed. The app use the universal color code green, yellow and red to indicate the speed.

Ever wish you could tell how fast you were going as if you were the one behind the steering wheel? Well, gopinathann, has created an app that mimics an automobile speedometer. It uses your device’s built in GPS to track how fast you are moving and displays the speed on your screen.

This could come in handy if you’re riding a train or bus and want to see how fast you’re going; or if your friends like to drive fast and you want to keep an eye on the speed, but can’t view the meter from where you’re sitting. So far, this app is only available for QVGA and VGA screens, but the developer is thinking about WVGA as well.
