1) Createing location points via their web application with pictures, descriptions, audio and video files. Everything you create is available for all mobile users on Terrestrica. The content of each location point is triggered by user exact position determined by GPS in their Mobile device.

2) Create valuable & interesting geolocation points anywhere in the world and be paid for it. The Advertiser is choosing on which location he would like to advertise and place his promotional message. That Ad will be shown on Users Mobile phones in a form of a banner as soon the User enter that location point area.

HTC FootPrints lets you create a diary of places and events. So on one screen you can have a photo, the location (even GPS tagged), voice notes, the time/date, written notes and a phone number so you can create a diary of events. So if you go on a trip or if you just want to remember a restaurant location this is a pretty slick piece of software. It links with GoogleMaps as well as TomTom, CoPilot, PaPaGo and NaviTel but you do not need any of those GPS applications to use it. If you want Google Maps to work with it then you need to install FootPrints first and then GMaps else the GMaps icon will not appear. HTC FootPrints will install into Programs/MultiMedia. This was ported by KDKobesfrom xda-developers.

Imagine you are walking around the city and find something to do, you ask your friends to come and join you they just use Gippos and track you down.

Now the question you all want to ask before using this application
Is it possible that criminals will be able to follow me?
No, unless you uncheck the Hide my relocation option on the GPS tab of the Settings dialog. We also strictly recommend you to protect your Gippos account by setting a password, so that nobody could use your account.

We have seen another innovative use of GPS last week in the form ofOops I am Late and now we have Gippos.

GPSed – Track your mobiles movement and see the results online
