Our Windows Mobile readers will be familiar with Freda ebook reader, the developer has just informed us that he is working on a Windows Phone 7 version of the app. The WP7 version will be called Wattpad and will be branded for Wattpad.com ( Wattpad is an e-book community where writers can publish and share their works. The content is user-generated, allowing anyone to contribute to the library )
Clicking on left or right edges of the screen can be used to flip pages, you can also use the scroll action to scroll the page up and down. There are a bunch of options you can configure including font, color, size, there were some twitter and facebook integration as well. The Wattpad WP7 app also ties in with the review and commenting system from Wattpad.com. Some of the other features that people expect from an ebook reader like adding notes, search for keywords, etc were also demoed in the video. According to the developer the version in the demo is branded (and tied) to the Wattpad site, but he has plans to release a version that works with any book source.
