LED Flashlight is a simple and free flashlight app. It uses the LED light on your phone as a light source (the light used by the camera when taking photos). Unlike some other flashlight apps that just show a white screen, LED Flashlight can give you a much brighter light. Even if LED Flashlight is a very simple app, we took our time to polish it and make it the best in the marketplace. We included some special features, most of them not available in other flashlight apps:

 – Shake to toggle – you can shake the phone to toggle the flashlight
– Camera button to toggle – you can use the camera shutter button to toggle the flashlight
– Disable lock screen – you can disable the lock screen so that the light does not turn off by itself
– Constant light – the LED light does not flicker like some other flashlight apps
– Customizable live tile – you can choose from a few icons and effects and customize the colors(see screenshot).

According to me a great app to have on any phone with a flash for the camera, truth of the matter is I use the flash as a flashlight more than using it in pictures and I am sure at the very least a few of you will share that habit with me.

I am sure many of you would like to use the camera LED flash on your Windows Phone as a temporary flashlight, now there is an app in the Windows Phone Marketplace that allows users to do just that. Say hello to White Light by davepermen. You can use the app to run you screen white which is ok but if your device has a LED flash it will automatically swirch that on when the app is active ( even when its in the background ) which is amazing coz the flash gives out a better light than a simple white screen. You can toggle the screen color from black / white with a simple touch this has no effect on the LED flashlight.

I use to have a device with LED Flash light for Camera, well i have alway used it as a torch light rather than clicking photos. But there are number of phones which do not have Flash built-in, so this program built “twolf” from xda-developers comes to rescue when you need light at places where you have no external light(like theaters).

How to use:
-As you enter the app, it places you pocket’s screen on full bright mode and removes any fade-out and stand-by option. As you exit it restores your previous settings.
-If you click on the screen while on the LAMP area, it changes between 8 colors.
-If you click on the FADER screen, it changes between 5 colors.
-If you click on the SOS screen, it allows you to create your own morse code, just click and hold your finger on the screen for it to remain white (still with bugs), if you don’t click it for a while it goes back to the automatic SOS.

Features :
- LAMP, a simple white screen.
- Strobe, to call for attention (or hypnotize someone º_o).
- Fader, with fade-in/fade-out light, like a lighthouse.
- SOS, that spells s.o.s in morse code.
- Disco, random bright colorful lights, like a disco.
- PEN, in which you can draw temporary light forms.
- LIGHTER , for fun on a concert, as you can see on the picture.
- LOVELYGHT, just a visual test, also good for the loved ones.
- Android boot animation
- LightSaber with sounds. Press top, middle or bottom of the screen for diferent effects, or use your keypad.
- Starlight animation (heavy on CPU).

Requirements:
To use you just need FLASH 7

Place the EXE anywhere on your pocket pc and create a shortcut to the start menu (you can use any file explorer for that).
