S2P is a stylus-free MP3/MP4/AAC/WMA player application modeled after the cool iPhone player. It simply lets you browse your music files & play.

prerequisite
– WM5 Phone or WM6/6.1/6.5 Professional devices (with built-in Windows Media Player)
– free RAM: at least 3M
– free storage space: at least 1M

Changes in v0.82 beta
- temporarily disabled the “Album View” (both Portrait & Landscape).
(in case you want to know more, read here)
- added command line parameter option to playback a music or a playlist, the parameter must in FULL PATH.
e.g. “\Program Files\S2P\s2p.exe” \Storage Card\Music\Album\music.mp3
e.g. “\Program Files\S2P\s2p.exe” \Storage Card\Playlists\playlist.asx
- added index bar on the artist & album lists for easy navigation.
- added quick way to go to the top of a list: tap the top system status bar.
- added option to set the volume control to control the system volume directly. (Settings > General)
- fine tuned the scrolling behaviour of all lists.
- fine tuned the option “Power Tweak”; if your device stops playback when power off, try to turn this option on.
- fixed ASX playlist could not be identified because of UNICODE.
- some minor bugs fixed.

BLOB is a finger friendly WVGA skin for Mortplayer by Puckmeister from xda-developers. You will need to have mortPlayer Installed on your device for this to work and will only scale for WVGA devices. PLAY-Button is the CoverArt even when there is no coverArt available.

ArkSwitch is an easy to use, finger-friendly task manager for Windows Mobile 6.5.3 (with a WM6.5 compatibility mode). ArkSwitch can be opened from any screen that has the top bar visible. You can click the text of an app to bring it to the foreground, click the icon to view the App Info screen, or click the “X” image to close it. WM6.5.3 users would be crazy not to use this, this is easily one of the best task mangers out there on windows mobile 6.5.3. We will try and get a full detailed review of the app soon. Kudos to Arktronic for releasing this app. With the latest version the app supports theming and we are sure to see some amazing themes for this app in the near future

Infinity – A new UI for windows mobile users

This new app comes from Ageye Software. Their apps are known for the finger friendly nature and beautiful Graphics. The app does look a lot like the Android UI with widget support. This app is the first alpha and here is what it does. Landscape mode is not yet supported.

- A basic lock screen
- Two widgets – a digital clock and one to place shortcuts on the desktops
- A customizable startmenu
- A notification manager (click on the taskbar)
- and a taskbar

And they plan to include this in the future ( with Ageye Software on the job we are sure they will deliver )

VolumeKeys 0.3 is a new windows mobile freeware by ponchofiesta from xda-devs. You can control it with the volume keys of your device or with your finger/stylus (but it has to be opened with the volume keys first). Supports (W)(Q)VGA (means VGA, WVGA, QVGA and WQVGA). you need to have the .NET Framework 3.5 installed on your device.

Known issues / TODO:
- Speaker icon does not change
- no landscape support
- does not save volume if you slide up/down outside the bar
- does not work with in call volume
- seams to block some keys (send/end)

leo001 from MoDaCo has managed to extract Swype Input Keyboard from the Omnia 2 ( props to Pocketnow for the find ). Once you get used to this , you will love to use this keyboard. Its much more fun and faster to input text on your device.

From their finding it looks like the app works on GSM Omnia II, HTC Pure, Touch Pro2, etc.
