Nokia Lumia 610
In an attempt to bring Windows Phones to a younger crowd and people with a more limited budget, Nokia and WP’s other OEM’s are gearing up to release these lower-priced/lower-spec’d devices to the market. Now making the list of regions to be receiving the Nokia Lumia 610, will be the Netherlands. While the Lumia 610 won’t blow you away with all the features available to its bigger and faster Lumia family members sporting 512MB of RAM, this new low cost device with 256MB of RAM will surely offer plenty of bang for its buck!

Nokia Tattoo Patent
Have you ever missed a call even with your device’s volume turned up to 30 and your vibrate on? You’re not the only one and Nokia thinks they have a solution to this problem, based on a recent patent submission. Nokia’s concept revolves around a skin spray with “ferromagnetic” material, a tattoo, or a stamp attached to your body that would offer vibrating notifications directly to your skin from a paired device. Each vibration sequence or type could signal low battery, phone call, text message, and/or calendar alerts.

Titan
It seems that the UK and the Windows Phone HTC Titan will no longer be friends. Today it has been noticed that the mammoth 4.7″ display Windows Phone HTC Titan is no longer being sold in the UK as it has vanished from carrier websites. Both of the large online retailers Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse have removed the Titan from their sites. In addition, carriers Vodafone, O2, Orange and T-Mo’s sites do not list the Titan either. This is very unfortunate as the HTC Titan has a great user rating at AT&T in the US with a 5/5 star rating. I myself own and LOVE the Titan!

Lumia 719
Around 3 weeks back, just prior to the 2012 Mobile World Congress, we reported about the Nokia Lumia 719 and it passing its Bluetooth SIG. It is not known which build the 719 will be running, however, I would have to believe it’s Tango.

Nokia-USA
It doesn’t matter what country or region you’re from. Whether you own or follow Windows Phone you know Microsoft has an uphill battle to gain a legitimate mobile market share. While AT&T and WP seem to be a good fit here in the US, the US is going to be Microsoft’s toughest customer to win over and it’s not entirely Microsoft’s fault. While many countries are positively responding to an influx of new WP devices with WP slowly gaining in global market share, there is a good chance US will be the last country to reflect any WP growth and the last 3 months prove it.
