splash changer
Do you want to change your carrier logo that pops up when your phone boots up on rooted devices ? ( the one that comes up between the OEM logo and the Windows Phone animation when you boot-up your phone ). Thanks to
windows phone hacker there is a way.
- Download splashchanger.zip file available from here ( you DONT have to extract it ) , but you can add 480×800 image in Windows BMP format to the ZIP file ( opening up the zip file and drag and drop should do it , then save the file ).
- Jump on to our Lumia wallpaper section for a lot of 480×800 wallpapers, you will need to re-save em as BMP as most of them will be JPEG.
- Deploy the entire splashchanger.zip file to your phone ( they work like a XAP , so use the same method you use to transfer XAP’s to your phone )
- Run the Splash Changer app and pick your choice of wallpaper for the splash screen.

Julien Schapman has released the first public beta of TouchXplorer for Windows Phone 7. TouchXplorer, for the uninitiated is a HomeBrew Windows Phone 7 App that can only be run on unlocked Windows Phone 7 devices.
At the moment TouchXperience does not work on non-HTC devices :( but the developer hopes to add more device support if possible. TouchXplorer is similar to Windows Mobile File Explorer (but with a nice Metro look), it supports all standard file operations (open, edit, copy, move, rename, delete, search files) but you can’t create/delete/copy folders. The developer also plans to add network support (accessing files from your personal/pro network) and FTP support (client & server) in future versions.
