Freda , short for free reader is a pocket pc software for reading eBooks on Windows Mobile devices. It can read txt, html and (DRM-free) ePub files. It’s in ‘public beta’ at the moment, so please send any feeback to the developer. The program uses two third-party libraries, SharpZipLib and the Majestic-12 HTMLParser library; both are licensed on terms permitting their redistribution for commercial and non-commercial purposes. Ageye software has released a beta version of another windows mobile app. With G-Profile you can define unlimited profiles which manage the state of your device (e.g volume, ringtones, WiFi, Bluetooth, phone radio, 3G, …).

You can set wether a profile should be only activated manually, at a certain time, when an appointment in your Pocket Outlook calendar occurs, when you connect your device to AC power / a headset / a handsfree or via ActiveSync (Windows Mobile device center) to a computer, when a specified program is launched or you your phone is connected to a specific cell tower.

This beta version expires on 2009/11/21. The final version will cost 4,99 EUR. Get it from ageye.de.

Unlike the usual passive mobile dialers, the call list will be filled with people that you want to or should be contacting. DialerAce, through its algorithm, actively recommends your next call based on your tendencies, habits, upcoming events and other information, such as birthday and anniversary. The goal is to make dialing easier. Without going through your ever-growing contact list, users are provided with a list of contacts that one may call. Capable of generating 32 contacts spread out in 4 pages, you no longer have to manually choose and select contacts as your favorite, they are added automatically!

Here are the highlight for some of the major changes in this release. You can find the complete list of DialerAce features in the initial release page.

  • Contacts’ individual Call Logs: Tap and hold on a contact, and click on Call History to bring up individual call logs.
  • Accuracy Check on Recommended Contacts: Wondering if the accuracy for the contacts generated is correct? Go to Menu > Accuracy to find out the accuracy of the recommended contacts.
  • Continuous page flip: You may now flip through the 4 pages of contacts continuously in a loop.
  • Access to default contact page (or phone book): From the Menu > Contact you may access the default contact page or phone book on your device.

G-Trigger is a G-Sensor based shake detector application developed by Krupal from xda-developer. It allows to start an application by shaking your windows Mobile  in particular direction. Its in its early development phase, so if you find any bug plz let the developer know about it so he can fix em in the next version. This is make with HTC Diamond in mind so I am not sure if it will work well with non HTC devices. credits to WMPowerUser for the find.

Currently supported shaking directions:

  • Horizontally
    • Left to right
    • Right to left
  • Vertically

With  this application you can specify the program that will start when phone is forcibly moved from left to right or moved as above mentioned directions.
