PowerGuard

PowerGuard

PowerGaurd is a windows mobile application which provides a real time read-out of your current battery current draw. It monitors several attributes, such as battery current, voltage, and temperature. PowerGuard represents these attributes textually as well as graphically and also can export the measurements to a comma-separated file. Next to monitoring battery current, PowerGuard can also give a notification when a user-configurable current threshold is exceeded. This is especially useful when you want to know what processes are eating up your battery.

The main application has six tabs:
1. Text : A textual representation of actual battery properties.
2. Graphs : A graphical representation of actual and past battery properties.
3. Life : A textual and graphical representation of remaining battery life (registered version only).
4. Control : Via this tab, the user can configure the behaviour of PowerGuard, such as update frequency.
5. Log : Via this tab, the user can configure the logging behaviour of PowerGuard (registered version only).
6. About : Information about PowerGuard, such as version number, and link to the PowerGuard website.

If you are satisfied with the basic features the application is free. As of version 1.3, new features require registration.
