On windows Phone with Local scout ( where available ) there is no need to have a 3rd party app for finding POI near you. but what if you live in an area where Bing’s coverage is not so great and want to check up the POI’s offered on Google Maps ? …the message is clear but as a startup we have a limited budget. Ofcourse we would love to have a client for Windows Mobile but we can only start the project when we can allocate budget for it or find other means to finance the development of a Windows Mobile client. I think we will start Q2 2010 earliest on this…

Social websites meets augmented reality , is this the start of a much better standard called Augmented ID. The Astonishing Tribe has done some really cool work over the past and this new idea looks very promising. When someone views you through their handset’s camera, pre-selected info and social networking links appear to hover around you, I wonder how it will workout for identical twins ?
