Something is going essentially wrong in my eyes at AT&T. A few days ago we reported about a very bad customer experience at an AT&T store.

The Lumia 900 is now officially launched in the USA. AT&T is getting this device exclusive. Only short time after the launch party was over, they removed the Lumia 900 from their start page. [click to continue…]
April 8th, the day in which the Nokia Lumia 900 introduces itself to the US Market via AT&T. There are a lot of consumers here in the states, who have been waiting for this day to arrive. This article won’t be about that however. Same date, same carrier, but a different story though. With no big promotion, no people clamoring for its launch, front page on AT&T’s website, heck not even on its own OEM’s front page on their website, the HTC Titan™ II will launch on April 8th along with the Lumia 900. While kind of sad, it actually offers encouragement, the US market is showing Microsoft that they think WP is good, just not on a recycled Android device.
Nokia, Microsoft and AT&T are strongly working together for the launch of the Nokia Lumia 900 in the US. But something is still going wrong at AT&T stores. In a recent article, Brian Aarhus wrote down his story about getting the Lumia 900 pre-ordered. [click to continue…]
Let the frenzy begin! The Nokia 900 is now available for pre-order online via AT&T and WalMart! This is great news for many overly eager people who had a rumored day come and go without the Nokia 900 becoming available earlier in the month. The availability of the top-tier smartphone the Nokia Lumia 900 at the largest retailer in the US is important. A common complaint with our young OS is availability. While contractually you still will need to be an AT&T subscriber, there is a WalMart in almost every town or city in America and has a thriving online site as well. [click to continue…]
Another one of AT&T LTE device has just got the release date and price confirmed this time by the folks at cnet , Nokia Lumia 900 will be released in the US on the 8th of April for $99 on a two year contract with AT&T. Initially only the black and cyan colors are expected , you will have to wait till the 22nd to get your hands on the white version. The Lumia 900 as opposed to the Titan 2 will have an 8-MP Carl Zeiss lens, 4.3-inch ClearBlack Amoled screen, 1830 mAh battery.
HTC Titan II Pricing and release date for US AT&T customers has just been unveiled. The device launches on April 8th for $199.99 ( on contract ) which is almost double compared to what you can pick up the Lumia 900 for. Spec wise the device offers a whooping 16-megapixel camera which is a lot more than what usually comes on any windows phone and the Front camera is around 1.3. The device also sports a 4.7-inch super LCD display , 1.5 Ghz Processor, Li-Ion 1730 mAh and an array of sensor which include Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass. But with the media attention the Lumia 900 has received , the excellent marketing efforts of Nokia and the $100 drop in price I really don’t see a lot of users going after the HTC Titan 2. via verge
The issue with retail staff is no secret and it is a major problem when it comes to windows phone sales and now it looks like Nokia is out to fix this issue , well at least with the AT&T staff in the US. According to Daniel Rubino from wpcentral Nokia will be launching an intensive media campaign with the launch of the Lumia 900 and sales staff will be trained on the Windows Phone OS on the Lumia 900 devices. Another rumor is that AT&Twill be using the Nokia Lumia 900 for “Company Use” which impels Front Seller employees are eligible to receive Lumia 900 at no cost if they turn in their current “Company Use” phones ( iPhone and Android devices ). Smart move if you ask me , don’t you think Microsoft should have done something like this ages ago ?
