You don’t usually see a Windows Mobile phone being promoted these days. But Verizon has recently shown a new ad which slams the iPhone and promotes Windows Mobile ( HTC Imagio ) and Android devices ( HTC Eris ). AT&T is apparently suing Verizon for misrepresenting its network in ads, but that doesn’t seem to have prevented the carrier from using that same map image in this new video.

The guys @ PocketNow got a photo of the AT&T Pure which gives a blurry spyshot of the WM6.5 Start menu with an interesting icon named AppCenter. which according to them seems to be a proprietary AT&T app store for applications that run on Java. The app also features the Windows Mobile Marketplace app.

MobilityDigest.com has got some nice pics and info about the HTC AT&T Pure. They have also stated that the device will sporting TF3D 2.1 on top of WM6.5 and there will NOT be a 3.5mm audio jack.

Got a Windows Mobile Phone, then its time to enjoy some Free Wi-Fi. According to on10.net AT&T, owners of Windows Mobile devices will get to enjoy free Wi-Fi at the carrier 20,000 hotspots across the United States. Starting September 14th, customers with a qualifying data plan ( you need to pay for a data plan and then they give you the so called “FREE” Wi-Fi access ) will be able to use their mobile phone at any of the AT&T locations shown here. Well one good thing about the AT&T’s Wi-Fi network is that it will auto-authenticate you as long as you have Wi-Fi turned on.

thanks to Engadget we now know that AT&T will be getting the Touch Pro2. HTC Touch Pro2 is in the running to be the first handset carried by every top-tier North American carrier in a very long time.

HTC is launching a new site to promote the HTC Fuze ( Touch Pro ) on AT&T called HowIFuze.com, It a Flash site, which gives you the feel of TouchFlo 3D. You can actually hover your mouse over the Fuze’s interface and slide it around like a finger. As a part of the new site, HTC is giving away one Fuze a day at the site, before you get excited its only for US customers, after all its an AT&T Phone.
