Microsoft’s ability to hitch more manufacturers to the WP7 bandwagon will be a key factor in determining the growth of the platform. With ASUS’s CEO Jerry Shen’s statement to CeBIT, it looks like they would be adding a line-up of WP7 phones next year.

Remember the spyshot of an Asus WP7 powered device , which was one of the 1st real WP7 hardware leaks we have seen. Now don’t expect anything related to the actual device from this video it was more or less a demo of the OS and not the hardware. The only difference from the spyshot picture was the fact the ASUS branding is no longer present. So what do you guys think about this Asus WP7 device ? I know SilverFox will be disappointed coz of the iPhone like home button ;). With LG offering DLNA for WP7 devices, Asus better have some good trick up its sleeve if they want consumers attention.
Its also possible that the device might come to AT&T according to WMExperts, who managed to spot the AT&T branded store in the WP7 Marketplace that was demoed in the video. ( Freeze the video at 6:39 and you can see it for yourself )

We have seen many prototype WP7 devices over time from Samsung, LG and Asus. Now we finally have an real WP7 hardware from Asus. We dont know anything about the device yet other than the fact its a WP7 Asus device. The leak comes from a twitter user Shaistajafri ( the page has since been taken down ). But the image has been plastered all across the web. via PocketNow
