Acer the world’s third largest PC vendor has been quite active in Smartphone arena for now. Now they are heading for India which is one of world’s second largest market for mobile handhelds & a potential smartphone market. Acer has already announced its plan to introduce 9 handhelds in all this year itself, giving heat waves to the simmering Indian smartphone market.
Acer is eying both business & personal users for its current smartphone range.
We are hoping to see some fort busting for HTC which has been (quite rightly though) leading the smartphone market in windows mobile OS everywhere.
