SPB TV : with Picture-in-Picture mode for Windows Phone

It’s nice to see SPB Software supporting Windows Phone ( update: Apparently SPB TV is now a standalone app and not a part of SPB Software ) , SPB TV has recently been bumped up to version 3.0 . We have seen apps like AU Video.OD that brings online videos to Windows Phone, but there are some nice features in SBP TV like Picture-in-Picture mode so you don’t have to exit out of a channel to see whats on the other channels. I was not too impressed with their lineup of video channels available but they have marketplace which offers more video channels , hopefully they will keep adding more content through the marketplace.

If you are looking to add your own video feeds you are in for disappointment as I did not find a way to do this in the app. The app is free , so you can give it a go yourself and decide for yourself. Do you know of a similar app that our readers will enjoy , sound off in the comments below
