SensorLock 0.2 – Lock / Unlock utility using the Accelerometer

SensorLock is a program designed for the HTC Touch Diamond (and will probably work on the HTC Touch Pro too).

SensorLock allows you to lock the device’s screen and buttons, thereby preventing random button and screen presses while the device is in your pocket.

Locking and unlocking is simply done by rotating the device around its longest axis (clockwise for locking and counter-clockwise for unlocking) and can be done in any program (Media Player, TomTom etc) without disrupting normal device operation.

I personally think this software is ‘Cool’ with the use of sensor to lock/unlock the device. but in functionality side, it comes near to 0. I bet it would be much faster to unlock just by pressing the switch button rather than flipping the device & risk dropping the device while flipping. lol. just my personal opinion. maybe this would be useful it applied to other applications, maybe games. maybe a game like ‘Windows Wii’

May not be the best way to lock the device but some people will like the idea of flipping the device to lock it ;)

There are a few great application like an Alarm and a few games using the G-sensor . Get them here : http://www.1800pocketpc.com/category/software/accelerometer
