S2U2 2.02

A_C has released an update for his famous locking application, S2U2, to version 2.02. For those unfamiliar with this app, it’s well known among Windows Mobile enthusiasts for its screen locking and notification capabilities. S2U2 allows you to lock your device to keep from unintended screen presses. It also features a clock, appointment support, alarm info, weather integration, notifications, e-mail/SMS/missed calls previews, a battery meter, customizable backgrounds and more. If you’ve never seen it in action, now is a good time to download and test it.

If you’ve upgraded to recently released versions of the app, you may want to upgrade again to v2.02 to maximize its full potential. The changes seem to focus mainly on bug fixes, but should prove to be beneficial. Changes since the last release are listed below.

Changes of v2.02

- removed the data connection monitoring as it might cause battery drain on some occasions.
- removed option “Always Hide the system incoming pop-up” as it did not always work.
- fixed the occasional system hang or cannot answer/end on the CallerID screen.
- improved mute ring response (press the Volume Up/Down).
- when dismiss the missed call details, the missed call notification icon will also be dismissed.
- a few minor bugs fixed.
