It looks like the uber successful game Temple Run , an endless-runner survival game might be heading to Windows Phone . While there is no time frame on the titles release the developers did make a promising statement about other platforms in a recent interview with pocketgamer

We’re also working on bringing Temple Run to every possible device. I think we’ve gotten emails from owners of every possible device wanting Temple Run. Android is first, then we’ll start tackling everything else.

UPDATE : Temple Run is now available for Windows Phone

Just like Draw Something Windows Phone users have to wait before the great games head over to our beloved OS. My guess is all high profile games will most likely hold out Windows Phone till they get an xBox live status , which is the best way to launch your game on Windows Phone and from what I have heard there are quite a few hoops to jump when a game gets released as an xBox Live game. The studio behind the game Imangi Studio has already got one of their game Harbor Master on to Windows Phone as an Xbox title, so they are not new to being accepted in to the elite crowd. Fingers crossed its sooner than later .. we have reached out to Imangi Studio in regards to this but have not received any response in the matter.

FYI : the game is already available on iPhone and some Android ( hello fragmentation )

Haha better than sex? Either the sex you’re having isn’t very good, or you’re getting a bit creative with this game ;) ;)
It looks good… Hopefully there’s a no-tilt option, although it doesn’t look like there’s much movement required. [Posted from the 1800PocketPC app]

  3. Windows phones are to good of phones for the temple run games not to be compatible.
