Due to the lack of time to sit and do a written review for all of these , I was taking the easy route and doing a quickie review for a bunch of apps that were sent to us for review. Today we will be taking a look at
Photo Editor ( $0.99 ) : Image Editor App, that allows crop rotate, adding clip art and more
Artist Info ( FREE ) : some things I did not show in the video include , Pinning of Artist’s and events (you can pin artists with specific photos from the photo viewer if you want). Due to Windows Phone limitations, the app only provides developers with the music details about songs playing from ON the device, so any streaming music, whether from IE9, Zune Pass or Last.fm, etc, won’t be recognised and experimental lyrics support will added in the next minor version... and it looks like the info comes from last.FM.
Insider ( FREE ) : offers apps and games suggestions every month and also gives users a few ringtones every month , you will also see some custom bing wallpapers in there. Those who are new to Windows phone can also use the Tips section for some basics tips on using the device.
Compass ( FREE ) : A compass app for Windows Phone
Reminder Tile ( FREE ) : lets you create unlimited ‘live tiles’ on your home screen. You can write notes to yourself on the tile and it will flip every 10 seconds to reveal your notes.
HoloPhone 3D ( $0.99 ): brings 3D hologram experience for Windows Phone and NO you don’t need those stupid glasses. You can find multiple 3D content and some mini-games in there.
Funny Faces ( $0.99 ) : a true crowd pleaser , the demo gives you an idea of what to expect and chances are most of you will be hooked straightaway. One ” issue ” Rene will never be able to solve with the app is the constant request from users to add more effects ;) , so mate can we have moooooar ?
