WP7 have had a huge developer buzz ever since the developer tools were made public. Now WMPU reports that over 300,000 copies of its Windows phone 7 developer tools have been downloaded. The tools are still in beta and according to MobilityDigest the final developer tools will be available for download on September 16 which will bring the panorama, pivot controls and Bing maps controls that developers were longing for. Its also rumored that Microsoft will be accepting applications for its marketplace from first week of October.
Sam Jarawan tells us that his WP7 RSS reader app My RSS Reader is already live in the Marketplace as a test app. So the lucky few who have a developers device can give it a go. And with Windows Phone 7 Games being such a huge area of importance on WP7, Microsoft have set ups a Creators Club for XNA devs which will help you start creating games for Windows Phone 7.
We all knew that WP7 release dates for US and Europe were unofficially announced, and now here are a few more things that all but confirms this via WMPU
An electronics company insider in the UK, has confirmed that Windows Phone 7 is officially coming in early October, as Microsoft is planning a launch party for this event. Phones from HTC, LG, Samsung, Dell and Asus are going to be made public. There are also speculations that the Irish Windows Phone 7 launch is going to be happening around mid-October.
