Today we got a few FREE apps for you guys : there is this wallpaper app that pulls wallpapers from Bing and allows you to save em to your device, Night Stand Clock for Halloween , a Percent Calculator and a reminder app that allows you to pin the events to your home screen.
Bing2Wall ( FREE ) ( WEB ) : This handy app lets users download and save today’s Bing background from various region around the world, you can also get older images (up to six days). So if you find a cool wallpaper on Bing now you know how to download it to your device.
Night Stand Clock ( $0.99 ) ( WEB ) : This app comes with 2 themes and both of them are Halloween related. You can set them in landscape or portrait mode and will override the default screen timeout option. You can also set alarms via the app and you are spoilt for choice when it comes to spooky alarm sounds. The app also has some settings like 24 hrs time, toggle seconds , etc and there is a trial. So now you can stop searching for that Halloween Night Stand Clock ( if you ever were looking for one ;) ).
Vitae Percent Calculator ( FREE ) ( WEB ) : What can I say its a Percent Calculator app and does what it says and you can grab it for free.
Due Dates ( $0.99 ) ( WEB ) :
I say ” birthdays, events, meetings or what ever other important day you have you can mark them and set a reminder for them in the app …”
Then you say ” .. wait the calender app lets you do that , so why the need for an app ? “
I say ” .. dude you should let me finish .. you can pin those events to your start screen as a live tile using this app. Can your calander app do that for you ? huh huh ..”
So yeah this is an app that lets you pin the events to the start screen and you also have some basic configuration option , you can pick an image to go with the live tile and add it in any colour that you want. The live tile can also tell you how many days till the event. This can be quite useful to some of us who want to pin important event on the start screen and once they are up you can take then down. There is trial available so you can jump in any give it a go before forking out $0.99 for it
