We have seen multiple Windows Phone Tips on our Tip and tricks video ( part 1 ) ( part 2 ). But every now and then you might come across something new. I always knew you can give voice commands to place outgoing calls on Windows Phone but what I did not know was that you can also ask Windows Phone to place that call on speaker. We are planning to include windows 8 in to our coverage along with the usual Windows phone stuff. Now with the release inching closer I think its time we started taking a look at some Tips and Tricks that will help users who are new to the OS adjust to the new UI changes and features in Windows 8. 1) Quick App Search
When you are in the Windows 8 Metro UI and want to quickly find or launch an app what do you do ? Just start typing , no keyboard shortcuts or Windows Key + F or anything … Just Start Typing the name of the app and let Windows 8 find it as you type.
