Windows Phone 7 – the slight contradiction.

This is just a quick one, saying about a thought I had last night.

Microsoft’s new OS is meant to be something new, which it is. Don’t get me wrong, I think its brilliant & cant wait for its release, but it does seem that they have said one thing, yet done another.

NewsGeek has put up a video of WP7 vs the iPhone 3Gs on their youtube channel. We are not sure what network ( WiFi or 3G .. ) these devices are connected to. It looks like they try 3 websites
il.msn.com
nytimes.com
microsoft.com

iPhone 3GS outperforms the WP7 device ( when you look at the load time ). Keep in mind WP7 is a prototype device. But since the OS is quite close to the release build and IE Mobile is not looking to live up to its promise. Opera you will be missed :(

Does anyone know if the Taylor has the required min specs for WP7 ( coz this is a device that will NOT be released , its just a prototype device for developers )

Windows Phone 7 games : Sudoku

by Saijo George on July 23, 2010

in News

There are far too many games and apps for WP7 popping up every day. We have to say some of them looks like some simple flash game you can play online for free ( keep in mind these are not finished products ) and I do hope the marketplace wont be flooded with them , but you also come across some good games from time to time.
This is a Sudoku game for WP7 running in the Beta Emulator. I dont think anyone would require an introduction to Sudoku, and it looks like we will be getting this classic on WP7. This demo was released on youtube by reflectionit

in News

Scribble Defense is a tower defense game developed by mechaghost. The game is available in the Xbox Live Marketplace. You are the Scribble Meister, a master of inks and defender of Scribbles. As their sole protector, you alone defend them from an unrelenting march of vicious Scrawls. Each puzzling level will challenge you to play creatively; deploy destructive towers to unleash powerful attacks, or kinetic towers to manipulate foes and the very paths they use to assault you.
