There is an app for Premier League and BundesLiga so why not one for La Liga ? Now the developers of those apps have released a La Liga app for windows phone. Be it Real Madrid or Barcelona you will get your soccer fix from this app. The app should run on all major resolutions

By now everyone would have heard about ” Xbox Live games for Windows Phone 7 from Gamescom 2010 “. Now Backstage is hosting a live discussion event with Major Nelson ( who apparently can answer your questions on Xbox LIVE games ) on August 19, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. PST (4:00 p.m. CST). They promises answers on Xbox LIVE titles available at launch, Games hub features.
Microsoft just released some info on some premium games coming to xBox Live on Windows Phone 7 during launch. They have also unveiled what are the features that games that are xBox Live enabled will have. Upuntill now we just knew that xBox Live wont support real-time multiplayer games during launch but they have plans to introduce that down the line but for the moment you have to play asynchronous multiplayer games. We also know there will be some sort of support for your Avatar.
Engadget got the chance to test out these features first hand, so lets see what they had to say about it
Besides just announcing some games today, Microsoft has also shown off the full feature set of Xbox Live integration in Windows Phone 7, and users of the service should be pleased to discover that there’s not much missing from the version they know and love. Live on WP7 will allow for full avatar integration (we’re talking fully rendered, interactive avatars) along with customization (clothes, accessories, and more). The company has even crafted an avatar-centric version of familiar phone utilities like flashlight apps and levels, adding some whimsy to what would normally be pretty staid affairs. Additionally, messaging, friend lists / status, achievements, and leaderboards (with friend comparisons) are all here as well, making for a pretty complete mobile Xbox Live experience. And also just like the console, every game will have a try-before-you buy demo to check out before spending your hard-earned cash.
Oh Yeah, you read that right , it is a McDonald’s app for windows phone. The app supports 2 languages French and English. Not all possible items are listed, because the whole choice, for all McDonalds all around the world will be really to huge to manage BUT if you need something which isn’t listed, you easily could go in the Special Category and use the last button, with the Clownface, to have listed “unlisted meal”, so you could remember your personalized order.
Usage Instruction :
- Click on the image of the desired section:
1st line = Sandwiches – Beverages – Coaching
2nd line = happymeal – Menus – Salads
3rd line = Dessert – Breakfast – Specials
- In the category “Special” are of special items, limited in time
- Once in a category, click on the image to increment the counter (1)
- If you want to remove an item, click on “-1″, then click on the item to a decrement
- If you want to erase all selections from the page of the current category, click on the trash
- If you click on “List” (top right), you arrive on the checkout. Here, you can completely erase button (“Trash”) or send the command shown by SMS (button “SMS”)
- To return to the first page, click on “House”
- To change the language, click on “Options” at the bottom left
MTG Keeper is an app designed for keeping track of your and your opponents life scores in the game Magic: The Gathering. You can also do coin flips and dice rolls with the app. Also included is a 50 minute timer included for those that play in tournaments. With the coin flip the app uses 2 Faces coin of unburned and burned sides, and there is a 1 in a million chance of it landing on its side. The app was made with WVGA devices in mind so it might not work well on other resolutions
Phone Tree is a new Windows Phone 7 App powered by Twilio. Twilio offers developers a powerful API for phone services to make and receive phone calls, and send and receive text messages. According to the developer 4MKMobile, Phone Tree is made to allow about-to-be parents to keep their friends and family in the loop about their special day.
We don’t know much more about the app but you can get some more info from the video which will show some features like sending out updates using SMS or Phone to all the contacts you have nominated via the app. If you use the phone option the app will place a call and read out your message to the recipient using text to speech and they can leave you a message if they are set up as phone contacts which will show up in your updates.
Captain Movie is a wp7 app that can hook in to many different movie community database to pull up info about a movie. The app supports a lot of German movie database ( ofdb.de, MoviePilot, Cineasten ) along with IMDB and TMDb. Unfortunately I didn’t see support for trailers in the video demo for the app. Anyhoo if you are a movie buff then you might want to check out that app
Ball Bounce is a simple game where you simply tap on the broken computer monitor and try to keep it from hitting the desk for as long as possible. The current and high scores are displayed at the top of the app. The game was made for WVGA devices.
