LoveFilm is a British company that offers online video rental (by-post) including DVD-Video, Blu-ray, and video game console Disc, on-demand video streaming of movies in European counties like UK and Germany. Instead of that I could have said something like its like the Netflix of Europe ;). This is not an Official LoveFilm App but Lawrence Gripper felt he needed an app for LoveFilm and My LoveFilm was developed for WP7. My LoveFilm lets you browse your film queues, search for films, change priorities on titles, view similar films, view recommendations, view rented titles, view rated titles, and add/remove titles from your queues. It also has a list of the most recent DVD releases. Currently supports TV and film rentals too.

I’m a love film subscriber and really wanted to be able to manage my account from my phone 7. So I wrote this app to do just that. It lets you browse your film queues, search for films, change priorities on titles, view similar films, view recommendations, view rented titles, view rated titles, and add/remove titles from your queues. I wonder which phone ( if she was on one ) she was using ? With Glance and Go on WP7 could she have been saved from that embarrassing moment ? I know Microsoft put a lot of emphasis on Glance and Go but honestly I thinking its got more to do with marketing fad than reality. I take a glance and see there are notification on twitter ( Beezz ) and open up the Twitter app and spend a lot of time reading and replying to tweets. I think something like SPB diary / SPB Mobile shell was more glance and go friendly than WP7. But if I was given the option of WM and WP7 I would go with WP7.

Microsoft developed an operating system that is a successor of Windows Mobile platform, the Windows Phone 7. This new operating system is mainly aimed at the consumer market rather than the enterprise market. With the development of this operating system, Microsoft has given its users a new user interface with Metro, its design language. Windows Phone 7 was unveiled on February 15th 2010 in Barcelona.
According to Microsoft, Windows Phone 7 has been developed to be more user friendly by redesigning and rebuilding the operating system overall. Yet, Microsoft has no plans to bring Windows 7 tablet computer but would come up with Windows 7 for tablets. Windows Phone 7 comes with better User Interface that displays lot of information on the screen.

A shame that it only is for HTC devices, so I can’t test it out, but I thought, just letting you know, cuse it has a awsome feature. And it’s called change the theme color, cuse the way it descibed in the articel here : Change Accent color on WP7 Easily isn’t quite easy, but thanks to this tool, it is.
You have to, like in the other method, sideload this app, so you need to have adeveloper device, or an unlocked one. But he’s also working on Device manager, wich does the same thing, but also can sideload apps, and i will recommend waiting for that tool, coming in the next few days, as described on the developers site.
