LazyTube has recently been updated to version 2.5 which should fix the recent issue with high quality streaming of youtube videos. This version also has the new volume slider in the playback player and the ability to optionally sync video history with the ‘Music & Video’ hub.

Nyan Cat / Pop Tart Cat is now available on your windows Phone. For the uninitiated
Nyan Cat is an 8-bit animation depicting a cat with the body of a cherry pop tart flying through outer space, that really took off after the
video on youtube with the Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya tune was covered my mainstream news sites. A lot of games were released which shows you a counter and loops the music in the backgound and the idea is to figure out how long one can endure this. Did you know that on Windows Phone you can have your apps automatically reinstalled after a hard reset? I believe this is a very little known fact that have not been widely reported.
It just so happened that I’ve received a new Dell Venue Pro (DVP) Windows Phone today (Yay!!!! *pat on the back*) and started with setting it up with my existing Windows Live ID that I’ve been using on the Samsung Focus, and installed two apps while I was at it.

A moment ago, Charlie Kindle (@ckindel) tweeted while attending a Microsoft hosted Windows Phone Mango ship party.

While the Windows Phone launch party a year ago was with a lot fanfare, this year’s party seems a little more subtle as indicated by James Pfaff’s (a Microsoft intern) tweet.

There’s not much to take away from these photos except for the fact that James Pfaff is using a Mango Windows Phone and tweeted the photo using the integrated twitter feature. It’s good to see Microsoft’s employees supporting their own creations.

Skype Windows Phone ( Photoshopped )
Back in April ‘11 during the MIX conference, Joe Belfiore of the Windows Phone team briefly mentioned Skype will be coming to Windows Phone in the fall. Fast forward one month later, we hear announcement of Microsoft acquiring Skype for $8.5 billion, we knew Skype integration into Windows Phone is imminent.
