Official sources have always maintained their release days as”Fall 2011″ and have also said we will get them before Christmas. Now if the rumors are true then we should start seeing the updates by the start of next month. Of course not all devices / carriers will get it on Sep 1st, we all know the drill .. wait for the carrier to approve it and if you have a Samsung device wait even longer .. will that change ? only time will tell.

We did see some cool concepts that might come to Windows Phone , but here is something that all of us can enjoy once you have Mango on your device.
When you get a text message , the phone will ask you if you want it to read the txt out to you , once it reads it out you can ask the device to reply to the text , call the person or ignore it. If you choose to reply you can just dictate your message and the phone will ask if you want to send that or retry . If you say send the device sends off the message. You can do all of this without physically touching the phone. You have the option to enable this only when the headset is connected ot you can enable it at all times from the settings page.
I love this feature in Mango .. what do you guys think ?

Do you like to tweet? Do you have a Mango Windows Phone device? If you answered yes to both of those questions then you are in luck.
Windows Phone Mango has a new feature that allows you to send text messages using voice recognition. And if you have setup your mobile phone with Twitter that allows texting to tweet, you can use voice recognition in messaging to say what you want to tweet and text it to the Twitter number provided to you. (Wow, that was a lot of T’s there).

In a new Microsoft Tellme promo ad , we see how the future of Microsoft Tellme on Windows Phone might look like. It looks like you could just start taling to Windows Phone like you would to a person and it will get you results on what you are looking for and with Twitter and Facebook integrated right in to the OS it will take in to account what your friends recommend !!! Once it has the result it will tell you talk to you about the various result it has , the phone actually tries to talk to you and addresses you by your name .. I am not sure I am ready for that just yet. I would assume you will get a notification and if you choose to get it it will say it out to you, I believe no one would want their phone to just start speaking to them every now and then from their pocket ;). Recently, we’ve heard of rumors that the update after “Mango” would be called “Tango” in keeping with tradition of ending codenames with the letter ‘O’.
Today, Mary Jo Foley of ZDNET (All About Microsoft) has confirmation from her sources saying
“…Tango is real and it is, indeed, the next version of Windows Phone OS.”
One of her contacts also indicated there maybe “two Tango releases hitting before the Windows Phone 8 Apollo release” and the update are focused on lower end devices and possibly released only to the Asian market.
