WMPoweruser is reporting the Toshiba IS12T will go on sale on August 25th according to a post from NanaPho.jp. The phones are already on display in store and ready for the first Windows Phone customers in Japan to get their hands on them.
Now this is what a Windows Phone booth should look like instead of the pathetic Windows Phone section at the AT&T & Stores in the US.

If west has a Halloween festival to appease the departed souls, then Taiwan has its own set of festival or a fete which is dedicated to the departed souls from the underworld. Traditionally the festival has been celebrated throughout China on the fifteenth day of very lunar month. There are some festivals which are associated with ghosts and spirits, one being the Buddhist Ullalbana festival and the Ghost festival of the Taoist. Since all the traditions are some what related to the honoring of the ghost this month is aptly named as the ghost month. In the island nation of Taiwan the ghost festival is celebrated by slaughtering of a pig and a ship which when bundled with wine and meat is a great mix and people enjoy it with all fun and frolic.

Cliff Simpkins (@cliffsimpkins) of Microsoft released a couple of teaser shots of the survey for developers on the plan to update their apps to Mango or WP 7.5. The results shows 57% of developers are planning to update their apps on the launch of Mango, another 17.7% plan to make the update within a month after launch. Only 4.3% of developers surveyed has no plan to update their apps to Mango at this time.
Looking at the survey results give us a glimpse at what we have been looking forward to; with the 500+ features available in the Mango update. Personally, I’m looking forward to fast app switching, deep linking, and app shortcutting (being able to pin an in-app feature to the home screen) as demonstrated by the British Airway app seen during the MIX conference this year. Nokia 800 WP7
Elbert Perez has noticed a few mystery devices are being used to play his windows phone games, it looks like the new suspects are a Nokia 800 ( no its not the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet, I was fooled by that notion too but Nokia has recently announced its going to use numbers to name its devices ( more info ), so this Nokia 800 could be a test device some one at Nokia is using. Could this be the same Sea Ray device ? Your guess is as good as mine.
