Official Wordpress App for Windows Phone

If you are a blogger then you would have come across WordPress and chances are you will be using it. ( If not you should seriously try it there is no other way to run a blog or a simple site ). Now if you are always on the move and use a Windows Phone there is an official Official WordPress App for us, just like every other major mobile platforms. The purpose of this Windows Phone app is to create blog posts on the go save it as a draft or publish it and also have features such as the ability to add photos and content to posts, moderate comments, view stats. Automattic and Microsoft seem to be have a great relationship I say this coz Microsoft closed down Live Spaces and managed to port their users over to WordPress. Don’t have a blog yet ? Create a new one with the app .. too easy and its completely FREE !!!! And if you want to turn your wordpress blog in to a windows phone app we got you covered.

The app was recently updated to version 1.6 which had the following changes
- Fixed an issue where some Stats could not be opened
- Minor Bug fixes

Click here or the logo of the app below.. you can even scan the barcode near the logo using bing vision and launch the app directly on your Windows Phone.

Scan this QRcode with Bing vision ( Hit the hardware Search button and click on the small icon that looks like an eye ) on your Phone to download the App to your phone.

what would have been really cool is if you posted this article from the app ;)

I downloaded it earlier. Its pretty good :D
I really wanted a better way to sort out comments on my site & I got it ^_^

  i was home and was in front of the PC , bwtween the PC and the app i would go for the pc any day, well atleast untill we get speech to text on the phone :)
  
  plus the app does not have many features like spell check, custom fields,etc but its still a great first version :)

Testing right now – one quick feature request would be integrating with the “Share” functionality for the Picture Hub, so I can quick post from the camera.

  personally for me that would not be a feature that is all that important but it can be quite handy for photo bloggers
