I love new apps like this but im always baffled by them also! The olympics is run over such a short period of time so essentially the app will be redundant in a few weeks. I know there’s always money to be made by advertising and promotion, by all that effort and time in making the app is gone in a few weeks. Am I nuts?! [Posted from the 1800PocketPC app]

We have created a beautiful app in Metro style called “Olympic Flow” to deliver a continuous picture news feed from various news sources, facebook, blogs and videos like Youtube. In this beautiful designed Metro app you can scroll endlessly through more than 15000 items, or use the search functionality. This is probably the only Olympics app that offers search and tag filtering. You can also enable the live tile with new pictures for to indicate content updates. App highights are big content database with large pictures and fast scrolling through all content without.

@bigbirdplop: No you’re not nuts, when I look at our Olympics Apps, we can hardly buy a hamburger from the profits, so indeed partly waste of time, especially there are so few WP7 users, profit might be better for IPhone apps.
