It has merely been months since Nokia launched their first Windows Phone device, with a storm across not just the UK, but Europe and also soon coming US, and now the handset has been named the Mobile of the Year at the What Mobile Awards 2011 at London’s Whisky Mist.Thousands of people voted for the phone in the magazine’s award and editor Richard Melville had the following to say about the device.
“It’s no secret that Nokia make great phones but with a new Windows Phone Mango operating system, great design and a competitive price, the Lumia 800 feels like real innovation for smartphones and, importantly, one that’s cool enough to attract everyone from gadget geeks to casual, fashion conscious phone users.”
It surely looks like Nokia soon emerging to the top just as the good old days.

Nice.I think device is one of the best looking devices. though it seams to me not best device. It lacks a few things. no FFC. for me anyway the screen size is way too small. that works well with many folks but not for me. after using the HD7 for the past year the 4.3 is nice or even higher I would go. Getting back to how the device looks I think it cracks up really well with the square tiles of WP7.
true…using a 4.3incher…makes anything look dull…same with me…which is why i moved from HD2 to HD7….now guess the next switch will be something like the TItan !
I, agree I think the Titian but it’s not on T-MO and I wont go AT&T . So if T-MO doesn’t get anything better than the radar. I’ll end up back on Android which I dislike. but I dislike AT&T more.
