My Library is a great way to read books and magazines right on your Windows Phone. The application supports buying and downloading books and magazines from several books stores like Google e-book store, Barnes & Noble, Amazon, Random House and others. Alternately, you can download books manually and put them into the Books catalog of your device. My Library supports epub, oeb, pdf and fb2 file formats. The application is fast and highly customizable, for best reading in day and night.
Reading on your Windows Phone is just like reading a real book, but this time the book is in your pocket. And not just one book, you can get your entire collection with yourself. After loading the splash screen, you can continue reading or return to the Home screen of the program. In the Home screen you can quickly navigate between your collections, previously opened books, featured items, etc. You can also choose a criteria to sort your books – by author, title, series or tag.
In My Library you can search, navigate and download the latest best-selling books, world’s classics or just your favourite magazine. For every title, series and author there is a lot of information you can read, before buying or downloading the book.
Of course, there are a lot of settings for comfortable reading:
• Adjust screen brightness, right in the app
• Day/Night mode
• Use side buttons to navigate
• Customizable background – colour or pattern
• Add and organize bookmarks and favourites
• Find a word, character, or phrase anywhere in your book with the built-in search feature.
• Text settings – change the font size and pick from external TrueType/OpenType fonts
• In the main screen you have quick access to Home, Content, Toggle day/night and settings.
I’ll expect your comments and feedback for this concept, and I hope you like it.

It looks great, now build it and get it on the Marketplace!
Why post this as a concept, why not just release it on the phone.
Looks good. Windows Phone 7 Series is the old name though – just Windows Phone would be better (since Mango will be WP 7.5, so WP7 wouldn’t be ideal).
Ya, I’ll change it next time. Thanks.
I’m just waiting on the app to hit the marketplace. I have my credit card ready. I have been waiting on something like this. I would love to beta test :)
If you build it, and ms decides to make marketplace available where i live (croatia, middle of the europe), i’d pay a couple of bucks.
There is not one decent ebook reader out there yet, so you could grab a few bucks i reckon.
PS: loose the “my” in the name. Also, pinning a single book on a live tile, with a picture of a cover would be amazing
That is will be great. Btw, I’m from Bulgaria :)
Thanks for the suggestions.
If you build it, they will read. Really, I have been looking for a good reader that could read multiple formats.
this is just a concept but coding the app is a whole different thing, but lets hope some developers out there is inspired by this and takes a crack at it
Thumbs up man, great idea and I would definitely be interested to beta test when you have a version available. Competes with Amazon’s reader as a concept, so I would caution against a steep price if you care about adoption; otherwise great stuff. Look forward to an update when you have something developed.
As long as it has good chapter support then it’ll be a day one purchase. Windows Phone is in desperate need of a good ereader.
i see some real nice “concepts” surely better than some garbage on the marketplace but a concept is nothing but a tease…….. when will this stuff make it to the marketplace??
Regarding our Paypal and Home Automation app concepts , we did get some feedback from 3rd party devs saying they were looking in to it . No word on this particular one ( not yet at least :) )
Really hope that this will be released soon! Looks great to me!
