MusicInfoz is an unofficial MusicBrainz app for Windows Phone that allows users to search for their favourite artist and get as much info on them from their first song to how many releases they have had over time. Think of it like a wikipedia of music information. From the basic search by keyword , to automatically picking up the artist info from the music playing on zune the app offers some nice and interesting way to search for information, one of which is a barcode scanner.
The UI is not particularly pretty , but it works and fetches the info you requested. For artists you generally get some basic info followed by a Bio page , a list of all their releases and using eventful the app pulls up info about concerts in your area. For example if I type in “Ronan Keating” and go over to the events tag I get info about his concerts in various Australian cities, if you like what you see for can get it for free from the marketplace.
