Monday mornings never looked so good, this is an excellent skin for TodayLife. Some basic things to rem once u lock the screen , just swipe down->top to unlock, on other screen try swiping center-> left or right. If you go through the xml file all settings should be mentioned there. Installation is simple just copy the entire content of the zip file to any location and run TodayLife.exe
Recommend to do this SETTINGS for your ppc:
(how to: open the xml or txt files with with “totalcommander”, or on your PC with “ant txt Editor”, make the following changes, choose “save”, put xmls or txt files back in the theme folder of you PPC and restart todaylife.)
Edit the config.xml :
1. go down to “emaildefaultparam” and there you find:”freenet.de”. Replace this with the name of your account.
2. go down to CalendarAction and set it to 1 (=default windows mobile Calendar) otherwise my settings open thumbcal !
3. go down to time format and change it to 12 or 24
4. go to SMS Action and set it to 0 if you don want to open pocketcm
5. you can do more changes (SMS Alarm settings/Lock-settings), they are explained in the xml !
6. change language in the appointments: open the portrait.xml and the landscape.xml . You will find this text:
<Today>Heute</Today>
<Tomorrow>Morgen</Tomorrow>
<AllDay>…..</AllDay>
<MultiDay>…..</MultiDay>
change this four words in this lines to any language
7. change the date format in both portrait.xml and landscape.xml: <Format>dddd, d. MMMM yyyy</Format>
8. add the name and path of you applications for the launcher in the “Applications.txt”. Can be “.exe” or “.lnk” and works also with parameters.

I have to say I like todaylife. I just found it, but I also just found homescreen++ and love the Floyd theme. I might have to take a closer look at todaylife.

I downloaded the above skin, and configured as per instructions, but when i click on the contacts icon it doesnt show my contacts.

In applications.txt u will find ” \Programme\pocketcm\pocketcm.exe ” thats the contacts application , if you dont have pocketCM it wont work, just chnage that to ur default contacts application or the contacts application that u use :)
It is really nice, but for some reasons, it wouldn’t work in my HTC Diamond. I followed the instruction but the size of Today screen was so small… is it because of VGA? Does anyone work fine in their HTC Diamond? Thanks!
I am guessing it should be coz of the VGA resolution on the Diamond, just jump on the source and see if a VGA version has been released :)
