Microsoft Changed the Name of the Original Surface Table to Pixelsense

It seems that Microsoft have changed the name of the original Surface table to Pixelsense to avoid confusion with the newly launched Surface tablets.

Surface was previously the name of the massively multi-touch platform from Microsoft which was used in Samsung’s SUR40 LCD table. Now there is a note at the bottom left corner of the newly launched Surface Tablets website saying:

Looking for the Samsung SUR40 with Microsoft Pixelsense? Visit www.pixelsense.com

There is no official confirmation from Microsoft yet regarding the name change. Anyway the SUR40 is used only by a few people, so the name change will hardly be an issue.
