Apollo test pilot wanted
We received a tip from an Anonymous source, that Microsoft are looking to recruit someone to…
“Help with manual and automated testing of Marketplace applications written for Mango, but running on Apollo”
Which means to you and me that Apollo must be on the final, home stretch, with a build available to test current applications and games through scripted testing, debugging and actual hands on testing of current Marketplace applications and games on the next-generation Windows Phone OS that utilizes the Windows 8 kernal from the desktop os.
From what we can gather it would be standard practice to test and assure backward compatibility but its nice to have confirmation that Microsoft are taking steps to ensure that all applications will perform as expected everytime.

Apollo should be the release with Skype baked in, from what I can remember
i guess this is why i saw a win phone build 8.0.8000 on the WPbench….
