Well this shouldn’t be a surprise now should it. The way things have been going on in the Windows Mobile Camp it was only a matter of time before this happened. According to the data collected by comScore the number of active iPhone users in the US has passed that of Windows Mobile for the first time.

I don't think these figures will stick with the new range of Windows mobile phones like the HTC HD2 etc. Alot of my die hard iPhone friends have already traded in for newer more advanced Windows phones.

Lets see what happens in this new year, I suspect things may change. I guess it depends on how good the new iPhone will be this year and if Microsoft can get Winmo 7 out.

If iPhone brings out a device with a Physical Keyboard it will be a hard blow for WM and Blackberry.

WM7 in Q4 is still a long way away.. hopefully it will be worth the wait …
