How to unlock the Windows Phone 7 emulator – Download the unlocked BIN file

Here you go if you want to get your hand on the unlocked Windows Phone 7 emulator, just follow these easy to DIY steps. First you need the unlocked BIN file, you can get it from here : http://www.multiupload.com/H6IIOZKEMX

Here is how you do this:

1) download and install the developer tools (Visual Studio 10 express) from Microsoft:
2) download and install Microsoft Windows SDK for Windows 7 and .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 ( personally I didn’t have to do this coz I guess it was already installed on my Laptop )
3) download the bin http://www.multiupload.com/H6IIOZKEMX
4) rename the file to WM70C1.bin
5) go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\WindowsPhone\v7.0\Emulation\Images
6) rename the existing WM70C1.bin to WM70C1_old.bin
7) copy paste the downloaded bin file

That is it
