Hitler reacts to Windows Phone 7.8

Someone clearly is not happy about the compromise of Windows Phone 7.8 , and by the ever growing number on the official feature request forum this is something many users are not happy about. Where do you stand on all of this ?

Thank you so much for making my day, Always funny when anything is added to that clip but this was a superb idea ;-)

I’m just afraid that in a few months after the release of WP8, I can throw away my current smartphone because nobody develops/updates apps for WP 7.8 anymore.
Well okay they said apps for 7.8 will work on 8 too but let us be serious… As soon as enough people have a WP8 no ass will take care of us any more!!
And if I have to buy a new phone then…. Well why should I buy a WP again??? Maybe in 2 years it’s WP9 and everything starts again!!
    This is really bs Microsoft!

  • Iasonilio

I understand why 7.8 makes sense and that even if they wanted to they couldn’t add ALL of wp8 features as the phones aren’t built from them. Just dont forget about ur loyal customers otherwise it will eventually bite U in the ass! [Posted from the 1800PocketPC app]

    Guys stop being wuss-lots!

MSFT is here for business. It is targetting 13 billion potential customers. 12 million of us fuckers mean nothing when it is a time to make a business decision. Stop crying like babies and just start working your ass off to buy WP8. You know you will buy it like I will. It is THE best thing out there and just enjoy it.

    • Chris

I don’t have any money to waste… Maybe you have but you should be one of a few!
So IF I ‘work my ass off’ only because Microsoft excludes their true users, then my next device maybe will be an android or iOS!
Not because I don’t like WP rather than I feel betrayed by MS

I agree with you. WP7 is a 2 year old OS that’s had 3 updates all adding things to the phone but they are not adding the 4th because WP is all about being smooth and fast experience. The new os is designed for more powerful hardware not what is in my lumia 900 and by the time it comes out I will of had this phone for 5 months and in technology turms that’s a long time. MS are still giving us an update that will add the new start screen to our phones and when you bought your WP that was the phone you wanted and its not going to get worse its getting improved with the new start screen and some new apps.

How many android devices that did not come out with ics have got it in the last 12 months?

People really need to stop crying over this wp7 is an amazing os and just because you can’t get wp8 on your phone is nothing to cry over its justa part of life and technology.

How many iOS devices that did not come with iOS 5 have got it in the last 12 months? I bought my iPhone 4 a year ago and will be upgrading to iOS 6 as soon as it’s available. I can’t imagine who much it sucks for people how bought a shiny new high powered lumia a couple of months ago only to find out that in a couple of months no one will support them.

    Here’s where I stand:
Stop spreading Surer’s sensationalist crap. I know it’s a blog, but let’s *pretend* to be a little journalistic. Surer has been harping on this for days and days. Get. Over. It. The story has been printed. You’re supposed to REPORT the Windows Phone news, not MAKE it.

I think this is great! This tells me that Microsoft is in it for the long haul. I understand that not all Windows Devices will receive WP8, it just makes sense. Just like not all Apple devices will get iOS6 and not all Androids will receive ICS. This is the way of the market. This is a way that Micosoft can deliver a solid user experience without shorting the devices that aren’t designed for the next phase of mobile devices. I believe that 7.8 will be a great compromise so that the current windows devices can continue to offer a great experience. [Posted from the 1800PocketPC app]

Its dead on. Pretty funny. I like windows and love Microsoft like most of us. I could say shit to Microsoft because I am upset and felt betrayed but I will again go back to their new win8 devices.

I know how it feels because I have had every version of windows smartphone and windows mobile they ever come up with. The most hurtful was when HTC hd2 almost died with windows mobile 6.5 and this Nokia lumia 900 with win 7.5 :|

But this stupid heart still beats for windows. :’(

Lol , Hitler called Lumia the best phone on the market. hilarious

  • nlm

Hilarious! At first it thought linking to Nazis was bad taste but the moody Hitler probably captures how existing Lumia owners took the news!

All those that think WP is dead is forgetting Windows 8, what will be the biggest OS on the planet. There will be demand for that and by extension WP8.

  • gsmhelper

This is bad, but let’s face it: I have Sammy android phone and they never update to latest android OS. At least, MS tell us upfront. This will hurt Nokia sell as well.

  • HalT

I am sorry I won’t be able to get WP8 on my Lumia 710, but I don’t know what the whining is about. Does anyone really think ANY phone can be upgraded forever? My last three phones before I switched to WP7 were Androids, and not a single one was ever upgraded. I too am an early adopter, but I am not disappointed that Microsoft is making a great product better. Your phones are still gonna work, they just won’t do what they were never designed to do. I will wait for a while before I get a WP8, because I can’t get a free upgrade for a while, but mad at MS? Grow up, it’s how the telcos operate, they want you to buy new phones. That’s how they make money off you. It’s not gonna change no matter how much you whine. [Posted from the 1800PocketPC app]

“Does anyone really think ANY phone can be upgraded forever?”
Not forever but at least for a couple of years. Just look how long Apple supports it´s devices with upgrades (Almost 4 year old iPhone 3GS has iOS 5).

    I agree with Adolf…
