Gyrator

Gyrator is a screen rotator which uses the GSensor to detect the orientation of the device, and rotate the device screen accordingly. It has a graphical configuration system for blacklisting/whitelisting applications where auto rotation should not be performed.

Gyrator will enable your device to:

  • Automatically rotate the screen orientation to match that of the device
  • Automatically lock your device, or turn off the screen when the device is placed in a certain orientation
  • React to the stylus being inserted and removed from the device
  • Notify you when an event has ocurred by means of vibration or audible alert.

This application requires an Accelerometer on the phone, and will work only with the accelerometer from HTC

To get round the wrong version of the .NET Compact Framework issue:

Goto: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e3821449-3c6b-42f1-9fd9-0041345b3385&DisplayLang=en

Download and save the software to a location on your computer

connect your phone to the same computer using activesync

Run the software

It will automatically push out the update to your phone.

Run the Gyrate 2 software

Job done

:-)
