GooSMS Beta
Google SMS is a helpful service used to find out information via text messages. It’s great for users who have nonexistent or unforgiving data plans, but have generous SMS plans. You can quickly find out restaurant locations, movie listings, sports scores, flight status’ and more. The problem with the service is that you have to remember all kinds of shortcuts to get the information you’re seeking.
Vn1minh, a member on XDA, has created a finger friendly graphical user interface for this service called GooSMS. With GooSMS, you no longer have to remember keywords for the service and you’re able to customize it as well. Be sure to visit his development forum to give suggestions or to learn how to customize the app.
Note: this app is centered around SMS usage, so be sure to have the appropriate SMS plan if you don’t want charges to add up. You will also need .NET CF 3.5.
