F1 World : formula one app for Windows Phone

Are you a Formula One fan ? you have to check out our wallpapers for F1 here and if you are looking for up to date results and stats from F1 then check out F1 World from Concept Infoway. F1 World gives all the info related to F1 teams, drivers, circuits and stats from the current season . The app pulls in the information from multiple sources including Espnf1.com,Formula1.com, BBC F1 and more.

The app shows you a countdown timer to the next race and you can see all the stats and results from the past races and information regarding upcoming races. You are also able to quickly see the current standings for the various Teams and Drivers. The news section gives you a preview of the news from various sources and you can quickly open it up in a preview IE windows to read through the full news item on the original website. ( The preview screen does at time throw out html code which looks weird but that is only a minor issue , which I hope the developers are working to fix )

When you launch the app you are give a quick menu from where you can easily navigate to the various mene item like Driver stats , Schedule, Team standings , News and more . The UI here is what one might expect on an iphone its colorful and glossy and not very metro’ey but if you look past that the app offers all the info you would want to know about the current Formula One season.

There is a FREE version and a paid version available and the pro version is available for $1.29, From what we could see in the pro version you could pin individual events to the start screen and access the Live Broadcasters Section ( I have reached out to the developers to get more info on what it offers )
