EasyShares is a new windows mobile freeware that allows you to monitor your stock portfolio on the go. The app requires .NET Compact Framework 3.5 and Quote information is downloaded from Yahoo. With cable financial-news programs, stock newsletters and tip sheets, and an ever-growing number of investment Web sites, you’d think that investors watch their stock portfolios 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In a volatile market, changes can happen quickly and its important to keep a close eye on those numbers and now you can do it with a windows mobile device.

Hey Saijo,

I tried searching this site for TellMe info, but couldn't find it. Have you guys used this service extensively?

http://www.tellme.com/

I used to work for a company where we were looking for new product/R&D ideas. We were interested in MS making a bid for this service a couple years ago. I also noticed that MS had several job lsitings over the last year wrt to this service.

Anywys, what do you think? Will this become an importan feature for MS moving forwards?

Thanks.

I should add that because we were looking into different ideas, we were looking heavily into voice related innovations like voice xml and whatnot. Anyways, as WMC approaches, I feel like http://www.tellme.com/ might be another element to keep in eye on for the near future.

There are so many areas that MS has dumped tons of research $$ into and voice is probably one of the most important research categories for MS.

Hi Majg..

It looks a lot like Microsoft Recite.. unfortunately that project got axed a while back. I have always suspected it to make a comeback in WM7.
