Deed Day : have you done a good deed today ?

Here is cool idea for an app that you don’t come across every day. Deed Day is a Windows Phone 7 application that combines social, technology and civil duty to change lives and improve the world we live in! How Deed Day for WP7 achieves this is by recommending a random deed to you everyday, every time you complete one you gain points. This application will remind/encourage you to be a better person everyday by completing these simple tasks. Which can be something like Feed a homeless person. Deed Day for Windows Phone 7 will also give you additional info about each deed that will help you to understand and complete it.

The app adds a social dimension to the equation and if your friends have completed this task it will tell you that x number of your friends have completed this deed. You can also check out your friends activity stream. To promote a bit of healthy competition the Deed Day wp7 app adds a leaderboard and achievements. If you think you have a good idea for a good deed or an idea to provide relief effort to an area that was affected by a disaster you can submit the idea and it might be adopted by the Deed Day app.
