Do u often flash your device and then u have to go and restore all your PIM details from the backup you have created. At times its a frustrating task when we have to restore the contacts and then we end up with the names sorted as Last Name , First Name. If u have a lot of contacts its a daunting task to get every name changed from Last Name , First Name to First Name, Last Name. Luckily for us there is a little freeware that can get us the required result with the press of a button. Its called Contact changer.
You can also add the company name to the display name. It will only work on Windows Mobile 5.0 and above.

Okay, I withdraw my previous criticism. Restarting my contacts manager shows all my contacts properly sorted. :-)

This was just what I was looking for. just bought a HTC Legend which sort contacts by last name which CANT be changed :(
I installed this on my HTC HD mini but it does not change anything. I start the app. Press For Middle Last name and press Change. Then a pop up says “0 (zero) contacts changed” :(
Perfect program, just WM6.1 use suffix as well. So if I use that program, I can´t see that information in the list. There are 6 informations, why I can´t choise which I want to see?
