Windows Mobile users have always been fans of customizing the look and feel of the apps. ( Personally I ain’t that interested in themes ) with WP7 they will be limited to just the background and accent colors. ( In some cases you might be able to change the background image too ). This is how it breaks down :
You can choose one of the 2 background color dark or light ( read black or white ).
The 10 accent colors, magenta , purple, teal, lime, brown, pink, orange, blue, red and green.
The default Theme is a dark background with the blue accent color, but mobile operators or phone manufactures can override this setting.

Wow, this false WP7 emperor really has no clothes, if this report is correct. Who needs the flexibilty of powerful shell apps like SPB Shell, when you can settle for color-interchangable squares? Say, is the release year of this product 2010 or 1985?
I’m dumbfounded at how limited every API is, and now this.. there are so many small developer shops unable to port their flagship software to WM7 (Windows phone 7?? blah.). I’m sure it will be somewhat of a success because of the weight behind it. There’s a lot of us that put up with WM6.x because of the cool devices and/or availability of applications for FREE without cracking the device. That’s not all going to be true for the 7 devices…
