clfosk from over at xda-devs have posted an elaborate post comparing the two device. He takes a look at the Performance, Display ( SAMOLED+ ) and more and his pros and cons about the device were as outlined below

Pros
New CPU/GPU offers a definite increase in speed and power. App launching, app performance, gaming, HTML5 all benefit from it
Bigger screen size and yet thinner and lighter, perfectly sized device in my opinion
Bigger storage capacity (but no MicroSD)
4G capable (but don’t expect a significant speed increase)
Has front facing camera (even though quality is nothing special)
Easy to press buttons

This is not the first time we have seen Microsoft using this particular test to show off the exciting hardware acceleration in IE9 on Windows Phone Mango. But since then Apple has released the beta of iOS and Microsoft has decided to run the test again. This time we have a BlackBerry Torch, the Samsung Droid Charge, the iPhone 4 ( beta 3 of iOS5 ), and what looks like the HTC Mozart running Mango. The frame-rates achieved by the devices were as below via WMPU

BlackBerry Torch only managed to pull off a pathetic 9FPS

iPhone 4 even with beta 3 of iOS5 managed only about 14-16FPS

The Android powered Samsung Droid Charge got around 20-22 ( something like that from what I can see)

But the Mango Powered HTC with graphics acceleration came out with an amazing 50FPS !!!

Well this is still in the works and is a tech preview but the processing power demonstrated here will surely turn some heads. With the news IE9 is heading to WP7 in 2011 from the WP7 keynote at MWC. Microsoft demoed the “work in progress ‘ build of IE9 on Windows Phone 7.

You will see the magic of hardware acceleration in IE9 on Windows Phone 7 which can easily render 50 fish using HTML5, and the animation looks quite fluid while Safari on the iPhone 4 is having a hard time with it.

One of the question I have asked myself a lot these past few days have been how good is the SAMOLED screen on Samsung Omnia 7 when compared to the screen on HTC 7 Mozart. I finally have an answer .. HTC 7 Mozart does not even stand a remote chance wh en put up against the Samsung Omnia 7′s SAMOLED screen. The screen stands out from the rest of them, there is no doubt about that. That said I might end up getting a HTC 7 Mozart in about 7 hrs from now, coz of the camera and the overall look of the device, for some reason I dont like the rectangular look, with squarish sides on the Samsung Omnia 7.

Windows Phone 7 ( WP7 ) and Windows Mobile 6.5.x ( WM6.5.x ) are 2 completely different OS in just about every aspect. While each Os will have its share of hardcore loyal followers, I strongly believe that WP7 will perform well in the market and will be liked by consumers over the legacy OS ( WM 6.5.x ). Just about every user will need to look for a new UI for WM6.5 as the stock UI is not something that one would like to use everyday ( luckily some OEM’s have successfully covered up this flaw with custom UI of their own, but after a few click you sill land up in the long outdated WM6.5 interface ) , with a total reboot WP7 is offering a much more attractive UI ( subject to opinion, I am aware some of our readers are not big fans of the Metro UI ), this has both strengths and weakness , some people would love to customize the UI which is not a possibility on WP7 but is easily done on WM6.5.x .

In this short video we take a quick video tour of how Windows Phone 7 differ from the iPhone 4 when it comes to the lock screen and home screen. The WP7 device offers a slide up lock screen with info like number of unread emails, next appointment etc as compared to slide to unlock on the iPhone 4. Once in the home screen the WP7 device offers the user a lot of info in the form of live tiles while the iPhone interface is just a bunch of icons to launch your apps. There is no denying that the iPhone 4 offers a better way to switch between apps when compared to the WP7 device ( which does not have multitasking ). The ability to arrange apps in to folders is also nicely done on the iPhone 4 and this feature is non existent on the WP7 device. When it comes to bringing up the music controls when the user is not in the music app is present on both devices but personally I prefer the WP7 approach to it. What do you folks think WP7 or iPhone ?

I was never a tablet fan but there have been quite some demand for Apples iPad and up until now, the iPad has enjoyed relatively little or no competition in the tablet market, but with the Android powered Samsung Galaxy Tab all that is about to change. Wirefly have managed to get some details comparing both these devices.

Hardware

Display: The Apple iPad touts a larger, slightly higher resolution display (9.7-inch, 1024 x 768 pixel resolution) than that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab (7-inch, 1024 x 600). Of course, the iPad’s added display real-estate makes for a better web browsing and movie watching experience, but also renders the device less portable than the Galaxy Tab.

Camera: Disappointingly, the Apple iPad is without an on-board camera of any kind. The Samsung Galaxy Tab will have a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera making ultra-portable video chat a key selling point. The Galaxy Tab will also sport a 3.2-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash and autofocus.

Wireless: Of course, the Apple iPad is available with optional connectivity to AT&T’s 3G network. The Galaxy Tab is expected to be available for Verizon Wireless, and will have the ability to make phone calls in addition to utilize the 3G network for data connectivity. The iPad cannot make phone calls.

Operating System

The Google Android vs. Apple iOS battle rages on in the smartphone market, with Android scoring some major points as of late against Apple’s iPhone mobile operating system. Apple’s iOS also powers the iPod Touch and iPad. Beyond hardware, the biggest difference between the Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy S will inevitably come down to software.

Multitasking: While Apple’s latest version of iOS allows multitasking (arguably to a limited degree), an update for the iPad that will bring the device multitasking abilities is not expected to hit until the fall. The Android platform’s multitasking is regarded in many circles as superior to that of iOS, allowing for programs to run fully in the background.

Apps: Of course, the same applications available on iPhones and Android-powered phone are available on their tablet counterparts. Additionally, Apple’s iPad has a growing number of apps developed specifically for the device, taking advantage of its large screen real-estate. The day will certainly come where many apps will also be developed specifically with Android tablets in mind, but that day is not here yet, and iPad users will likely be able to claim a superior app selection for a long time to come.

Open: By its very nature, the Android platform is open, allowing virtually limitless customization, the ability to install any app you want (including apps that have not gone through an approval process), and unrestricted access to a device’s system and files.

Adobe Flash: Whatever your view on Adobe Flash may be, the fact is that a huge number of websites rely on Flash to provide engaging multimedia content and interactivity — and the web is a very different place without Flash. Apple’s iPad does not offer Flash support, rendering a wealth of content inaccessible from the device.

We have told you guys about the Pocket to Picture feature on Windows Phone 7. You can click on the camera button to take photos even if you’ve locked your phone. There’s no need to unlock the device, enter the passcode, or launching the camera app. Many of us were worried about all the photos that WP7 might take while the device was in your pocket, but now we know that this wont happen coz Pocket to Picture makes use of the proximity sensor to jump in to the camera app. So if its in your pocket the camera app cannot be opened !! Now that is a smart feature. The video also runs you through the Picture Hub and the integration with SkyDrive and Facebook.
