My name is Gary Jones, I have been into Windows Phone 7 for a little over a year now, It all started with the Samsung Omnia 7, from the moment I turned it on I knew this was the phone OS for me.
Usually when we run a Samsung Focus 1.4 story its bad news for the owners but not today !! It looks like after a looooooong wait the Mango Update is finally coming to you guys. According to the official windows phone blog, Microsoft is sending out Windows Phone 7.5 updates to customers with Samsung Focus 1.4 phones on AT&T. The update is also being scheduled for Samsung Omnia 7 owners on Telefonica in Spain. One more reason to celebrate with your Avatar
Jace one of our games reviewer from BestWP7Games.com has put up a short Fan made ad for Windows Phone. It highlights the fact that we have a lot of the stuff people use integrated right in to the OS like Facebook, Twitter, Bing Vision, etc.
A new TV ad from HTC for HTC Radar was spotted in UK, thanks to Tom Waren from WinRumors. This new ad featuring Annika Lischke, a designer/photographer shows Windows Phone’s People Hub, Photo sharing, etc,. Also the video quality is not the best that you have come across, so kindly ignore the quality.
Not sure what the graphic designers at O2 were smoking when they created the above image, but they surely seem high on something ! The above image is straight from the O2 webpage listing all their devices and specs. Some Android fanboy apparently though that the Mozart runs Android and hence has the logo at the bottom.Now on one side it surely is very misleading and offensive for some, it may be. However shall someone purchase this device thinking they receive Android, it wont be surprising if they like what they get ;). Head over to the O2 Website and see it for yourself before they fix it.
Really happy to write about this as Windows Phone 7 is the new 2011 IDSA winner of the Interactive Product Experience Award. Windows Phone 7 has always been about the user being the king with the live tiles keeping you always up to date in all aspects with the integrated hubs. No surprise at all !! Share your views below.
That little old rumour about Whatsapp coming to Windows Phone turned out to be true and the app is finally in the marketplace BUT wait you might not be able to download it just yet .. WMPU has got a picture of the app in action and the link points us to the app in the marketplace but clicking on it throws out an error message which states that we don’t have the permission to install it a.k.a the app is in private beta.
