I tried plugging the device to a power outlet and to my computer , they had no effect. Now since we cant remove the battery the only other choice I had was to let the battery run dry. I am not sure if any of you have seen a similar issue with your Nokia Lumia 920 , or any other Windows Phone device.

Workaround for using your CreditCard for purchasing Apps from Windows Phone Marketplace using IDswitch [ Homebrew ]
May 1, 2012 | Saijo George 5Users have had trouble in the past while trying to add their local creditcard to their windows phone primary live id account, when the primary account they use is a US based account ( and they are not from the US ) and if they happen to use this account as their primary acoount on windows phone. Now it would be a lot easier on everyone if Microsoft allows users to switch the region on their account, sadly this is something Microsoft has been reluctant to do. The folks at xda-dev does not usually take no for an answer and some of them has come up with a work around to get past this issue.
NOTE : I have not used this myself coz I hear the folks at Microsoft are always ready with the BanHammer when it comes to messing around with xbox live services. You have been warned. But if you want to head down this road jump past the break for the full step by step instruction

Bookmarklets for Windows Phone
October 21, 2011 | Saijo George 16Bookmarklets are Javascript code that can be saved as bookmarks in your web browser. They enhance your browsing experience by giving you instant access to useful functionality. I was trying out various bookmarklets to see what are the useful ones I can have on my Windows Phone and came across a few that you guys might enjoy. I started off by looking for a find on this page bookmarklet like the one I have seen on the iPhone a while ago. ( via the folks at tipb ) and since Mango has removed this handy feature from IE, I though it will be awesome to use this script but unfortunately that snippet of code does not work on Windows Phone, it seems to work on IE ( on the PC ). Similarly all the Bookmarklets that brings up a popup window to get the user input fails to run on Mobile IE, so I am guessing they have some setting which does not allow javascript popups on mobile IE. After a bit of looking around I came across 2 bookmarklets that might be useful to have and which works on Mobile IE.
